High achievement and access for all are our shared responsibilities

Sport Relief Week

3 March 2016

Challney High School for Boys is doing itself proud for Sport Relief!

From Monday 14 March to  Friday 18 March we will be raising funds for Sport Relief!

Our students will be taking on their own challenge for Sport Relief, with activities including a penalty shoot-out competition, basketball shooting and a 'Question of Sport' quiz. The school are hoping to beat the sum raised last year and collect as much money as possible for Sport Relief.

Mr Guiney, Head of PE, said: “Students and teachers at Challney High School for Boys love taking part in Sport Relief. It’s an excellent way to bring staff, students and the community together to get active, have fun and raise money for a great cause!”

The funds pupils raise this Sport Relief, will help to change lives forever; that’s because Comic Relief spends the money raised by the public to give vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Luton, the UK and throughout the world a helping hand to turn their lives around. We hope all our students will take part in some way and that this year's total sum will exceed all expectations!
