High achievement and access for all are our shared responsibilities

FANTASTIC NEWS Challney Boys in the top 5% of schools nationally for progress made by boys.

16 March 2017

I was delighted to receive a copy of the attached letter from Nick Gibbs MP, Minister of State for School Standards, yesterday.

Dear Parents/Carers,

The letter congratulates Challney High School for Boys for being in the top 5% of all schools in the country for the progress made by boys from Key Stage 2 to the end of Key Stage 4 - In actual fact the school was in the top 3% on this measure for 2016.

Please be assured that Challney High School for Boys staff continue to work hard to maintain these very high standards and I hope you are pleased that your child attends such an outstanding school.

I would also like to congratulate our partners at Denbigh High School who have received the same accolade.

Yours sincerely

Mr D Connor
Headteacher
